Frequently Asked Questions
Teague Moore Tennis works with clients at many different stages of the planning process. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive about tennis, pickleball, and basketball court construction.
What types of courts do you build?
- We specialize in tennis, pickleball, and basketball court construction. Our projects include private residential courts, community and HOA facilities, and contractor-led developments. We also handle resurfacing, upgrades, and conversions where appropriate.
Do you only build tennis courts?
- No. While our name is rooted in tennis, our expertise today includes pickleball and basketball courts as well. Each court is built using proven construction methods focused on performance, durability, and long-term use.
Do you work with homeowners as well as HOAs and contractors?
- Yes. We work with homeowners, neighborhoods and HOAs, and contractors. Our process is flexible and tailored to the needs of each client, while maintaining the same construction standards across every project.
Can you convert an existing tennis court into pickleball courts?
- In many cases, yes. We evaluate the existing surface and base to determine whether a conversion is appropriate. If conditions allow, we can convert tennis courts into pickleball courts or create multi-use layouts.
Do you handle site preparation?
- Yes. Proper site preparation is critical to long-term court performance. We assess grading and base construction before surface installation begins to ensure the court performs as intended over time.
How long does a typical court project take?
- Project timelines vary depending on the type of court, site conditions, and project scope. During the planning phase, we provide clear expectations and keep communication open throughout the process.
Do you offer resurfacing and maintenance services?
- Yes. In addition to new construction, we provide court resurfacing, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance to extend the life and performance of existing courts.
What factors affect the cost of a sports court?
- Cost depends on several factors, including site conditions, court type, size, surface system, and any required preparation or upgrades. We review each project individually and provide clear guidance during the quoting process.
Do you work on community or multi-court projects?
- Yes. We regularly work on community, HOA, and multi-court projects that require durable construction and long-term maintenance planning. These projects are approached with careful coordination and proven methods.
